How video to video works

The model reads the source clip frame by frame and keeps what defines the shot: where things are, how they move, how the camera travels, who and what is in it. The prompt is then applied on top of that structure. Because the motion is inherited rather than invented, a video-to-video result does not drift the way a fresh generation can — a pan stays a pan, a turn lands on the same beat.

The practical rule for prompts: describe the difference, not the whole scene. “Make it night with neon signs” works; restating everything already in the clip only gives the model more to change by accident. End with what to keep — “keep the motion and framing” — when the change is large.

Seedance 2.5 Edit is the reference: the most faithful to the source, the only one that keeps clips up to 30 seconds, and 4K when you need it. Seedance 2.5 Turbo Edit trades a little of that for speed and price at 720p and 1080p. Billing, in one paragraph

WaveSpeed bills every edit endpoint on the seconds it reads plus the seconds it writes, so the source length is half the price. Seedance 2.5 pads a very short source to 4 seconds and trims one past 30; the other endpoints keep up to 15 seconds. The studio probes your clip before billing, quotes the exact total on the Generate button, and refunds a failed edit automatically. Trimming a clip before editing is the easiest way to lower the price.

Sources, rights and labelling

Sources are videos generated on WowMade, picked from My Creations; uploaded camera footage is not accepted, and prompts and reference images are screened before anything is charged. An edit changes a scene — never who appears in it. Every result carries a signed C2PA provenance mark identifying it as AI-generated, in line with Article 50 of the EU AI Act; anyone can read it on the verification page, and the Content & Safety Policy sets out what may not be created.
