Unblurring is detail reconstruction. When a picture is soft because it is small, compressed or slightly out of focus, most of the information is still there, and the AI sharpens it convincingly. When a detail was never resolved — a smeared number, a face a few pixels wide — the AI can only draw a plausible guess. The result is an AI-edited image, marked as one, and never evidence of what a blurred detail really was.
How the sharpening works
A classic sharpen filter raises the contrast along edges, which makes blur look crunchy rather than clear. This tool instead enlarges the image with a generative upscaler that has learned how sharp edges, fabric, leaves and skin look, and rebuilds them at the new size.

How do I unblur an image?
Upload it to the tool at the top of this page. It opens on Creative, which rebuilds the most detail, and shows the size the sharpened image will be before you run it for 4 credits. When it finishes, slide between before and after and zoom in to check the edges.
What kinds of blur can it fix?
Softness from a small or low-resolution image, heavy compression from messaging apps and social media, slightly missed focus and mild camera shake. In each case the detail is partly there, and the AI sharpens and rebuilds it as it enlarges the picture.
What can't it fix?
Strong motion blur, where a subject is smeared across the frame, and anything the photo never resolved: an unreadable number plate, blurred text, a face that is a few pixels wide. The AI will draw something plausible there, which is why the result should never be used to find out what a blurred detail really was.
Is this a dedicated deblur model?
