What an AI music generator actually does
A generative music model composes a track that has never existed, from a description of what it should sound like. It is not a loop library and it is not a sample being pitched around: the melody, the arrangement, the mix and the sung vocal come out of one pass. Which is why the useful skill is describing a song precisely rather than knowing music theory. Give it a genre, a tempo, a mood, an instrument and a voice and it has five decisions to work with; ask it for “something nice” and it has none.

The writer works to that shape, tags every section on its own line, and keeps the names and the specific details you gave it, because that is what makes a song about your friend rather than a song about a friend.

Vocals or instrumental
The same description can become two very different tracks. With vocals on, the engine sings the lyrics in the voice you chose, in the language you chose, over an arrangement that matches the brief. With the instrumental switch on, the vocal line is removed and the arrangement carries the track alone, which is what most background music, focus playlists and stream loops need. Both cost the same and both come with cover art.
Writing a prompt that works
“A nice song” gives the engine nothing to decide with. The first track on this page came from “an upbeat summer pop banger about dancing until sunrise, catchy female vocal, hand claps, big chorus”: a genre, a subject, a voice, an instrument and a structure in one line. A reliable order is genre, subject, mood, tempo, voice, and one or two instruments. Name the sound you want, not a real artist: the writer never names real artists, bands or songs, and a description of the sound gets you closer anyway.

Failed generations are refunded automatically. Credits do not expire while your account is open, and one balance covers music, images and video.

Every track is marked as AI-generated
Songs made here are synthetic, and WowMade labels them as such. Each file carries a signed C2PA provenance manifest recording that it was AI-generated and which tool produced it, in line with Article 50 of the EU AI Act. Anyone can read that mark back on the verification page. Vocals are generated, never a recording of a person.
Prompts and lyrics are screened before generation. The writer never names a real artist, band or song, content stays PG-13, and the Content & Safety Policy sets out what may not be created here.
