Two ways to clean a clip
People & cars finds people and vehicles on its own and removes them from every frame, rebuilding what was behind them from the frames where it was visible. Name anything else that should go — a bicycle, a dog, a sign — and it goes too. Watermark & text finds text, logo and caption overlays that sit on top of the picture and fills them in; there is nothing to mark in either mode.

What works best
Movement helps. A person walking through the frame leaves the background visible in other frames, so the fill is grounded in real detail. Someone standing still in the middle of the shot for the whole clip leaves nothing to rebuild from, and the result is a best guess.
Steady or smooth camera. Tripod shots and slow pans come out cleanest. Shaky handheld footage still works, with softer fills.
Small beats big. Passers-by in a wide shot disappear cleanly; a crowd filling the frame will not. For a single photo, the object remover lets you tap or paint exactly what should go; to shoot the scene again from a prompt instead, use the video studio.
Rights and labelling
Edit videos you own or have the rights to edit, and do not use the tool to remove anyone else's watermark, credit or signature. Every result carries a signed C2PA provenance mark recording that it was edited with AI, in line with Article 50 of the EU AI Act. How do I remove people from a video?
Upload the clip to the tool at the top of this page, keep People & cars selected and press Remove. People and vehicles are found on their own in every frame and the background behind them is rebuilt, with the camera move kept. A 5-second clip is 4 credits at 720p; the result lands in My Creations after a few minutes.
Can it remove other objects, not just people?
Yes. Type them into “Anything else to remove?” — for example “bicycle, dog, umbrella” — and they are removed along with any people and vehicles. Objects that stay still for the whole clip and cover a large part of the frame are the hardest case, because there is no frame where the background behind them is visible.
How does the watermark and text mode work?
It finds text, logo and caption overlays by itself and fills them in — nothing to mark. It is the cheaper mode: 2 credits for a 10-second clip. Corner logos, captions and subtitles clear best; a large see-through word stretched across the middle of the picture may not come out fully. Use it only on videos you own or have the rights to edit, such as your own drafts or a preview mark on your own footage.
How long can the video be?
Up to 120 seconds. Longer clips need trimming first. Clips are billed by the second, with a 3-second minimum.
How much does it cost?

Whose videos can I edit?
