Editing by description

A traditional editor changes a video by cutting it. An AI video editor changes what is in it. You keep the shot you like — the camera move, the timing, the subject — and describe the one thing that should be different. The model reads every frame of the source, re-renders the clip with the change, and hands back a new take that moves exactly like the old one.

What it edits, and what other tools do

Inside the frame — weather, time of day, setting, colours, props, and the look of the whole clip — is the Edit tab. For a complete change of look, the video style changer collects style recipes that keep the motion intact.

The timeline and the file are other tools: the video merger joins clips in order, the video extender continues a clip past its last frame, and the video upscaler raises a finished clip’s resolution. All of them work on the same My Creations library, so a clip can go through several in a row.

Sources, rights and labelling

The editor works on videos generated on WowMade; uploaded camera footage is not accepted, and edit prompts are screened before anything is charged. The editor is for changing a scene — its light, its weather, its style — not who appears in it. Every edited clip carries a signed C2PA provenance mark identifying it as AI-generated, in line with Article 50 of the EU AI Act; anyone can read it on the verification page, and the Content & Safety Policy sets out what may not be created. Frequently asked questions

What does the WowMade AI video editor do?

It changes what is in a clip without reshooting it. You pick a video, type the change — make it snow, move it to golden hour, turn the car red, restyle it as a watercolour — and an edit model re-renders the clip with that change while keeping its motion, framing and subject. It is a prompt editor, not a cutting timeline.

Which videos can I edit?

Videos you generated on WowMade, picked from My Creations. Uploaded footage from a phone or camera is not accepted by the edit tool; every source has already passed the platform's generation checks, which is what keeps real people's footage from being rewritten without their knowledge.

Can it cut, trim or join clips?

Not in the Edit tab. Joining and ordering clips is the job of the video merger, making a clip longer is the video extender, and raising resolution is the video upscaler. The Edit tab changes what is inside the frame; those tools change the timeline and the file.

Which AI models edit the video?

Five endpoints: Seedance 2.5 Edit (480p to 4K, sources up to 30 seconds), Seedance 2.5 Turbo Edit, Seedance 2.0 Edit, Seedance 2.0 Mini Edit and MiniMax H3 Edit. They differ in resolution, how long a source they keep, whether you set the output length, and price — the table on this page lists all five.

How much does an AI video edit cost?

Edits are billed on the source seconds plus the output seconds, so a 5-second clip counts as ten. At those lengths an edit is 8 credits on MiniMax H3 at 480p and 35 on Seedance 2.5 at 720p. The studio prices your exact clip on the button before you run it, and failed edits are refunded.

Does the edited clip keep the original sound?

Your choice. Each engine can either keep the source soundtrack or generate new native audio to match the edited scene — useful when the change is rain, a crowd or a new location.

Is the edited video labelled as AI?

Yes. Every edited clip is saved to My Creations with a signed C2PA provenance mark identifying it as AI-generated, and anyone can read it on the verification page.
