What is an AI avatar generator?

Are the avatars real people?
No. Every stock avatar is a fictional character generated by WowMade from a written description, checked against a public-figure screen before it was published, and marked as AI-generated. Because nobody real is depicted, you can use several of them at once without a consent step.
Can I make an avatar of myself?
Yes — upload an original, front-facing photo of yourself and it speaks your script like a stock avatar does. A photo of another adult needs their permission, which you confirm before generating. Screenshots, photos of a screen or print, group shots and public figures are declined, and videos made from a photo carry a visible AI-generated label.
Can I design a custom AI avatar and make it talk?
