Pinewood Labs1 LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates AI Dance Video Maker GoCrazyAI, an AI-powered app that lets users turn uploaded images into short dance videos.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and how users can contact us or request deletion of their data.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information when you use the app:
Photos, Images, and Generated Videos
When you upload a photo or image, we process it to create the AI dance video requested by you. The uploaded image and generated video are considered user content.
This may include:
- photos or images uploaded by you;
- selected dance style or generation settings;
- generated video results;
- technical information needed to process and deliver the video.
You should only upload content you own or have permission to use.
Face Data
The photo you upload will usually show your face. Everything about how face data is collected, used, shared, retained and deleted, and how you can revoke your consent, is set out in Section 3 ("AI Processing and Face Data").
App Identifier (no account required)
The app does not ask you to create an account and does not collect your name, email address, or phone number. When you first open the app it generates a random identifier, stored only in the app's own files on your device, and creates an anonymous session with our database provider. This identifier is not derived from your device hardware, advertising identifier, or any personal information. We use it solely to link your generated videos and your purchase or subscription status to your device. Deleting the app removes the identifier from your device.
Purchase Information
If you buy credits, subscriptions, or in-app purchases through Apple, Apple processes your payment. We may receive limited purchase-related information, such as subscription status, product purchased, transaction status, and renewal/cancellation information. We do not receive your full credit card details.
Device and Technical Information
The app does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDK. When the app talks to our servers, our servers and service providers receive the standard technical information that accompanies any internet request, such as your IP address, app version, operating system version, and the time of the request, and keep it in short-lived server logs used for security, reliability, and abuse prevention. If you have opted in to sharing diagnostics with app developers in your iOS settings, Apple may provide us with anonymized crash reports.
Support Messages
If you contact us for support, we may collect your email address, message content, screenshots, and other information you choose to provide.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide the AI dance video generation service;
- process uploaded images and generate videos;
- display and save your creations where applicable;
- manage credits, subscriptions, and purchases;
- provide customer support;
- improve app performance and reliability;
- prevent fraud, abuse, unsafe content, or misuse;
- comply with legal obligations.
3. AI Processing and Face Data
The app uses AI technology to transform uploaded images into dance videos. Because the photo you upload will usually show your face, this section describes in full how we handle face data.
3.1 Collection, uses and disclosures of face data
What we collect: the single photo you choose to upload (taken with the camera or selected from your photo library), which will usually show your face, together with the dance style and background you select. We do not collect any other photos from your device.
How we collect it: only when you actively choose a photo in the app, and only after you have read and accepted the in-app "Your photo and face data" consent screen, which is shown before the camera or photo library opens for the first time.
All uses: we use the photo for one purpose only: to generate the dance video you request. We do not run facial recognition, we do not create or store face templates, faceprints, or any other biometric identifier, we do not use your photo to identify you or anyone else, we do not use it to train AI models, we do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell it.
All disclosures: the photo is disclosed only to the three service providers named in Section 3.2. It is never disclosed to anyone else, except where required by law (Section 5).
3.2 Sharing of face data
To generate your video, your uploaded photo and the generation settings you choose are sent to our AI generation provider, WaveSpeedAI (wavespeed.ai), which runs the image and video models that produce your video. WaveSpeedAI processes your photo only to generate the requested video and holds it and the intermediate images it produces temporarily for that purpose; generated files on its infrastructure expire automatically after a short period (currently approximately 7 days). We use WaveSpeedAI solely as a processor acting on our instructions; we do not permit it to use your photo for any other purpose, including training its models.
While your video is being generated, the photo is stored on our behalf by our cloud storage provider, Cloudflare (R2, EU region), under a random, unguessable file name.
Before generation starts, the photo is also sent to our content-safety provider, Hive (thehive.ai), which runs an automated check for whether the photo shows a public figure. Hive processes the photo only for that check, returns a yes/no result with a confidence score, and does not retain the photo or any face data afterwards. We use Hive solely as a processor acting on our instructions.
No other third party receives your photo or any face data. Our database provider (Supabase) stores only the record of your video (dance style, status, and a link to the finished video file), never the photo itself.
3.3 Retention of face data
Your uploaded photo is kept on our cloud storage only while your video is being generated and is automatically deleted within 24 hours of upload. Intermediate images produced during generation are not kept by us once your video is finished, and WaveSpeedAI's copies of the photo and intermediate images expire automatically shortly after generation (currently approximately 7 days). The finished dance video is kept in the app's My Videos screen until you delete it (see Section 6). The app does not create or keep any face template, faceprint, or other biometric data, on your device or anywhere else. The safety check computes a temporary comparison during the check only and retains nothing.
3.4 Deletion of face data and revoking consent
Deleting your photo: uploaded photos are deleted automatically within 24 hours, so no action is needed. If you want a photo removed sooner, email team@wowmade.ai and we will delete it from our storage promptly.
Deleting your videos: delete any generated video at any time from the My Videos screen in the app. This permanently removes the video file from our storage and its record from our database.
Revoking consent: you can withdraw your consent to our collection and use of face data at any time in the app under Settings › Photo & face data › Withdraw consent. After you withdraw consent the app will not send any photo to our provider until you agree again, and you will be shown the consent screen before your next video. You can also withdraw consent or ask us to delete any data associated with your use of the app by emailing team@wowmade.ai.
3.5 Third-party protection of face data
We confirm that every third party with whom the app shares face data (WaveSpeedAI, Hive and Cloudflare, named above) is bound by written terms requiring it to protect that data to the same or an equal standard as described in this Privacy Policy, to process it only to provide its service to us, and not to use it for its own purposes.
We do not sell uploaded photos, images, or generated videos.
We do not use uploaded photos or generated videos for advertising tracking.
We do not claim ownership of your uploaded images.
4. Content Rules and Safety
Users must not upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, sexually explicit, exploitative, or violates the rights of others.
Users must not upload images of minors.
Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to upload and use any image submitted to the app.
We may block, remove, or refuse to process content that appears to violate our rules, applicable law, platform policies, or safety standards.
5. Sharing of Information
We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the app, including:
- cloud hosting and storage providers (Cloudflare);
- AI generation providers (WaveSpeedAI, see Section 3);
- content-safety screening (Hive, see Section 3);
- authentication and database providers (Supabase);
- payment/subscription infrastructure (Apple App Store and RevenueCat, which receive purchase and subscription status only, never your photo);
- email and customer support tools;
- legal or compliance providers where necessary.
These providers are only allowed to process information as needed to provide services to us or comply with legal obligations, and each is required to protect your information to the same or an equal standard as described in this Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the safety, rights, and security of users, our company, or others.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Uploaded photos (including face data): stored on our cloud storage (Cloudflare R2, EU region) under a random, unguessable file name only while your video is generated, and automatically deleted within 24 hours of upload.
Intermediate images produced during generation are not kept by us once your video is finished.
Generated videos: kept in the app's My Videos screen so you can watch and share them until you delete them. Deleting a video in the app permanently removes the video file from our storage and its record from our database. Generated videos are stored on Cloudflare R2 (EU region); the record of the video (dance style, status, and a link to the file) is stored in our Supabase database.
We may also delete generated content after a reasonable period of inactivity or when it is no longer needed to provide the service.
Support messages, transaction records, and legal/compliance records may be kept longer where required for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request deletion of your data;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- request a copy of your data;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
To withdraw your consent to the use of your photo and face data, use Settings › Photo & face data › Withdraw consent in the app (see Section 3.4).

Because the app does not use accounts, we may ask you for details that help us locate data linked to your device, such as the approximate date of your videos or a screenshot of your My Videos screen.
8. Account and Data Deletion
You can delete any generated video yourself at any time from the My Videos screen in the app. This permanently removes the video file and its record from our systems. Uploaded photos are deleted automatically within 24 hours (see Section 3.3), so no action is needed to remove them; email us if you want one removed sooner. You can withdraw your consent to the use of face data at any time in Settings › Photo & face data (see Section 3.4).

9. Children's Privacy
The app is for adults 18 and older and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Users must not upload images of minors. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
10. International Data Transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards to protect personal data transferred internationally.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
However, no online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. No Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not sell uploaded photos, images, or generated videos.
We do not use uploaded user content for third-party advertising tracking.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify users through the app or website.
